"Memories of Stafford Street: Walsall in the 1960s"

During the 1960s, trolleybuses were a common sight traveling along Stafford Street en route to Blakenall or Bloxwich via Leamore. Notable landmarks included Hearnshaw Carpets positioned on the corner and the Prince Blucher located further along the street. On the left side stood the Criterion and the Speedy Queen Launderette, which was later transformed into Walsall's first Argos store.
